Meet Captain Angie Fisher
The Daughter of Edgartown
Captain Angie Fisher doesn’t just navigate these waters; she belongs to them. A native of Martha’s Vineyard and a descendant of 19th-century whalers, Angie’s lineage is woven into the very fabric of the island. Edgartown is, and always will be, her home.

Growing up as a fisherman’s daughter, Angie’s childhood was a masterclass in island living. Summers were spent in the salt spray of Katama Bay, Sengekontacket, and Cape Poge. Every morning, her parents—Francis and Lori Fisher—would load up the 1972 4x4 van with grills, coolers, and Quahog rakes for a day on the sand. While her father worked the flats, Angie was right beside him, "helping" find Little Necks with her feet.

That deep-rooted connection to the water never faded. For over 20 years, Angie has worked the Edgartown waters as a commercial fisherman and spent three years on her family’s oyster farm in Katama Bay. After a decade of dreaming and raising two children, she has officially traded the commercial nets for the captain’s chair.

Now a USCG-certified Master Captain, Angie is finally realizing her dream of sharing her backyard with you. She is the true definition of an Island Nauti Girl—rugged, refined, and ready to show you the heart of the Vineyard.
